Italy—Tenuta I Fauri

Valentina Di Camillo and her brother Luigi have dramatically increased the quality of their family’s wine in the past three years. Living in the hills of Italy’s Abruzzo wine region, their Pecorino wine—crispy, buttery and with a hint of mint—is made from a grape with the same name. It highlights the potential value of producing distinct and differentiated wines from little-known grape varieties growing in Italy.
